Allen Siemer

Allen Talcott Siemer was born on July 26, 1933, in Ellsworth Iowa, the son of Raymond Siemer and Ila Allen. Allen was raised by his grandparents, Jack and Ellen Allen in Audubon, Iowa and then graduated from Lamoni, Iowa. He was a long-time member of the RLDS Church.

He married Jacqueline Tucker and had four children: Gayle, Sheryl, Eric and Marc, all raised in Carroll, Iowa.

Allen served in the Tank Corp in the Army during the Korean War, where he sustained substantial hearing loss. Allen worked for Crouse Cartage for over 41 years where he met and married Karen Earleywine Coffelt. Allen drove over four million miles without an accident and received many awards for his driving. Allen loved watching all sports and all old westerns.

Allen died March 12, 2025, at the age of 91, at Onvida Hospital in Yuma, Arizona.

Allen was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; first wife, Jacqueline; brother, Bill Siemer; sister, Linda Farrell; brother, Tony Farrell; brother-in-law, Tom Rogers; sons, Eric and Marc; and grandson, Adam. He is survived by his wife Karen of 44 years; children, Gayle (Randy) Holmes and Sheryl Siemer, both of Tennessee and Sherri Coffelt of Arizona; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; siblings, Roger (Barb) Siemer, Jack Siemer and Mike (Kristy) Siemer all of Denison, Iowa; sisters in law, Anne Farrell of Maryland and Sharon Siemer of Missouri; many nieces, nephews and friends.
