Andrew Harris

Andrew Jay Smith was born June 22, 1984, to David Harris and Tammera Boyd in Grants Pass, Oregon. For his first 15 years Andrew was raised in Oregon. The family then moved to Pisgah, Iowa. Andrew attended Lo-Ma High School and the Unity High School in Woodbine. He moved to Sutherlin, Oregon for one year and then returned to Pisgah. He worked at Pisgah Pig and Woodbine Finishers. Andrew and his fianc�e, Samantha Carson, moved to Woodbine earlier this year.

Andrew played football in high school and he enjoyed all outdoor activities including fishing and 4-wheeling. He loved Oregon and he explored the rivers, mountains, and the caves. He also enjoyed being on anything fast and pushing it to the extreme.

Andrew died as a result of a motorcycle accident on Monday, April 14, 2008, at the age of 23 years, nine months, and 23 days.

Andrew is survived by his fianc�e, Samantha Carson; son, Riley Harris; daughter yet to be born, Kloey Harris all of Woodbine, Iowa; mother, Tammi (Chuck) Norris of Sutherlin, Oregon; father, Ricky Smith of Glendale, Oregon; brother, Jesse Smith of Sutherlin, Oregon; sister, Breanna Smith of Glendale, Oregon; grandparents; Lois & Otis Boyd of Ava, Missouri and Patsy Smith of Glendale, Oregon; nieces, Alya & Elissa Smith; special uncle, James (Shari) Smith, Joshua, Jaywayne and Jamie Smith of Grants Pass, Oregon and many other relatives and friends.
