Beulah Crane was born on August 24, 1927 in Woodbine, Iowa to parents Henry & Gladys (Hardy) Reis. She received education in the Woodbine school system.

On February 23, 1946, she married Franklin Kermit Crane in Vail, Iowa. The couple lived in Vail until 1953 at which time they moved to a farm near Dunlap, Iowa. Kermit died on January 19, 1989.

Beulah was a member of the United Methodist Church in Dunlap. She liked to play bingo, listen to polka music and visit with people.

Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Leota Blunk and brother Merlyn Reis. She is survived by children Gene Crane and his wife Andrea of Roseville, California, Jim Crane and his wife Lynn of Phoenix, Arizona, Gary Crane and his wife Connie of Aurora, Missouri, Judy Crane of Dunlap, Iowa, Donna Windle and special friend Jeff Robinson of Sioux City, Iowa, Bob Crane and his wife Marla of Marshalltown, Iowa and Richard Crane of Dunlap, Iowa; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; three brothers Vernon Reis and his wife Darlene, Leonard Reis and Gale Reis and his wife Carol all of Denison, Iowa; brother-in-law Delaine Blunk of Denison, Iowa; sister-in-law Marcella Reis of Denison, Iowa and many other relatives and friends.
