Beulah Irene (Siler) Michel was born on February 25, 1922, to Orley and Mamie (Selleck) Siler in Woodbine, Iowa. She was raised in Woodbine and attended Woodbine Public School. Beulah married Bud Michel on April 28, 1942, at a Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska. The couple lived their entire lives in Woodbine.
Beulah was baptized in the Christian Church. She loved to do embroidery work, crossword puzzles, watch game shows on television and go shopping with her daughters. Beulah was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She was very family oriented, but she was a private person. She had a very dry sense of humor
Beulah died on Monday, October 13, 2015, at her home in Woodbine at the age of 93 years, seven months, and 17 days.
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud Michel; daughter-in-law, Arlene Michel; great granddaughter, Amy Michel; and siblings, Roy Siler, Orlene Slagle, Gene Siler, Mary Vore, Roberta Nystrom, Herb Siler and an infant sister, Maxine Siler. She is survived by her three children, Sharon and her husband Reggie Wilson of Woodbine, Iowa, Gary Michel of Woodbine, Iowa, Carol Points of Dow City, Iowa; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
