Beverly J. Rose

 Beverly Jean Rose was born on November 1, 1938, outside of Woodbine, Iowa to Ray Nichols and Jennie Dunlap (Park) Rose. She attended Merrybrook country school where she had the same teacher for almost every grade. She then attended Woodbine High school and graduated in 1957. Beverly started her 41 year career at Woodman of the World in Omaha where she worked until she retired in 2000. She continued her working years selling Legal Shield until 2007. Beverly lived in Omaha, Nebraska for many years and just recently relocated back to Woodbine.

 Beverly loved animals, especially her dogs and a horse that she had for 30 years. She had an amazing eye for woodworking, especially with Poplar wood, and crafting. She enjoyed gardening. Beverly also loved bowling and spent many years on a league and she traveled to Nationals.

 Beverly died on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Azria Health Rose Vista in Woodbine at the age of 86 years, three months and 17 days.

 Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Jennie Ruth “Ruthie” and Ted Papin. She is survived by her special friends, Kenny and Wanda Moores of Woodbine and numerous cousins and friends.
