Chase Charles Bonsall was born August 1, 1995, to Chuck and Brenda (Baak) Bonsall in Denison, Iowa. He was raised in Dunlap and graduated from Boyer Valley High School in 2014. His involvement in various sports such as track, basketball, football, baseball and cross country not only showcased his athleticism but also his teamwork and leadership skills. He then went to Creighton University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2018, with a degree in Business Administration. Chase made significant contributions during his time at Uber Logistics in Chicago, Illinois. His hard work and determination earned him the respect of his colleagues and admiration of all who crossed paths with him. Known for his generous spirit, Chase never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need. His charitable nature touched the hearts of many and is a testament to the kind of person he was.
Chase’s love for golfing, weightlifting and working out highlighted his commitment to leading a healthy lifestyle. Some may have called him a "professional pot stirrer"; however, it was all in good fun as Chase had a way of bringing joy and laughter to those around him. Furthermore, his passion for travel was evident as he eagerly planned a trip to Italy.
Chase died on Friday, July 26, 2024, in Chicago at the age of 28 years, 11 months, and 25 days.
Chase was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Margaret Bonsall and Sandra Culver. He is survived by his mother, Brenda and her husband Dan Cambridge of Omaha, Nebraska; father, Chuck Bonsall of Dunlap; sister, Kaitlyn and her husband David Browns of Indianola, Iowa; nephew and niece, Dawson and Kimber Browns; stepsisters, Julia Cambridge (Spencer) and Rachael Cambridge (Ryan); stepbrothers, Nic Cambridge (Caroline) and Will Cambridge (McKenna); grandfather, Dennis Culver of Lake Havasu, Arizona; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given to the Boyer Valley Booster Club or the Dunlap Fire and Rescue Department.
