Chris Waite

Christopher Glenn Waite was born on May 5, 1973, to Terry and Connie (Collins) Waite in Harlan, Iowa. He grew up in Woodbine and graduated from Woodbine High School in 1991. Chris went on to attend Iowa State for one year and Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, Iowa for two years. While living in Sheldon, Chris worked for the electric company in Orange City. He then worked for Judt Electric in Blair, Nebraska and Woodbine Municipal in Woodbine, Iowa. Chris was currently working for MidAmerican Energy. On January 1, 2016, Chris married Cynthia Mozena.

Chris was an outdoorsman and all-around sportsman. He and Cindy enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and shooting. He enjoyed time with his family and friends and most of all, time with his boys.

Chris died on September 11, 2020, at his home in Woodbine at the age of 47 years, four months and six days.

Chris is survived by his wife Cindy Waite of Woodbine; boys, Matt, Tre, Sheldyn and Justin; parents, Terry and Connie Waite of Woodbine; brother, Ryan Waite and his wife Michelle of Salix, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
