Clifton Clark

Clifton Ralph Clark was born on October 10, 1942, in Grove Spring, Missouri to Fred Vernon and Freda Wave (Prock) Clark. Clifton grew up and received his education in Missouri. He helped his father with operating a saw mill. At the age of 22 or 23 Clifton moved to Iowa and worked construction for a company in Webster City, Iowa. He lived in Davidson, Iowa and in the early 1980’s he moved to the Woodbine area. Clifton worked in construction in the Woodbine area and then helped Danny Clark farm and do some carpentry work.

Clifton died on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at the Rose Vista Nursing Home in Woodbine at the age of 76 years, two months and 23 days.

Clifton was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lorraine Dale Clark. He is survived by his son, Dwayne Gavin Clark and his wife Lisa Jo of Council Bluffs, Iowa; grandson, Brandon Clark of Atlantic, Iowa; one brother, Gene Edward Clark of Hartville, Missouri; two sisters, Alice Ann  Harmsworth of Jenkins, Missouri and Mary Jane Johnson of Niangua, Missouri and many other relatives and friends.
