Colleen Ann Schaupp was born on April 9, 1945, in Blair, Nebraska to Leslie and Eva (Moldin) Gilbert. She grew up and attended school in Tekamah, Nebraska. Colleen was united in marriage to Emmett Davis on August 25, 1963, and they were blessed with two children. The couple lived in Tekamah. Colleen worked diligently at Campbell Soup in Fremont and later at Western Electric in Omaha. On January 16, 1985, she married William Schaupp in Hawaii. After settling in Dunlap, she devoted 18 years of her life to working at the Dunlap Care Center until her well-deserved retirement.

Colleen was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She found joy in simple pleasures. Colleen found solace being on the farm, tending to her garden, embracing her love for cooking, and immersing herself in the beauty of nature. She treasured time spent with family and friends.
