Cora Reeder

Cora Reeder, 92, of Mesa, Arizona formerly of Dunlap, Iowa died on Sunday, September 9, 2007 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born on March 25, 1915, to William & Lucille (Woodard) Benjamin in Shelby County, Iowa. Cora married Russell Reeder. The couple lived in the Dunlap area until 1955 when they moved to Omaha. While in Omaha Cora worked in a cafeteria for Western Electric. Russell died in 1963. Cora moved to Mesa in 1986 to be closer to her son Robert.

Cora liked to knit and made many afghans for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her sister, Lela Reeder; two sons, Billie and Harold Reeder; and two daughters, Ardith Wickert and Ann Miller. She is survived by her son, Robert Reeder of Mesa, Arizona; 14 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
