David Brunow VIDEO TRIBUTE
David Ellis Brunow was born July 3, 1956, to Bruce and Amy (Wulff) Brunow in Omaha, Nebraska. He was raised in Woodbine, Iowa and graduated from Woodbine High School in 1974. David played football and he wrestled for the Woodbine Tigers, and he was the homecoming king. Through out high school, David worked for Walker's Service Station. In 1975, he married Diane Sall in Logan, Iowa. He studied auto mechanics at Rider Tech in Des Moines, Iowa and for Leach Campers in Council Bluffs and UPS in the evenings. David eventually moved back to Harrison County and started working at Tommy Gate, where he was the Assistant Plant Manager.
David raised livestock and he loved to tinker on the farm. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. David also enjoyed bonfires, and cutting and burning wood. David was so very proud of his granddaughter.
David died on Saturday, November 5, 2005, at the Missouri Valley Hospital in Missouri Valley, Iowa attaining the age of 49 years, four months, and two days.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Amy. He is survived by his daughter, Angela Brunow and her special friend Steve Patrick and Angela's daughter, Carey Jo of Omaha, Nebraska; son, Heath Brunow and his wife Madelyn of Woodbine, Iowa; his fianc�e, Cindy Wright of Woodbine, Iowa; father, Bruce Brunow and his wife Shirley of Sanford, Maine; three sisters, Cindy Manley of Magnolia, Iowa, Elaine Brunow of Pisgah, Iowa, Fran and her husband Bill Wendt of Woodbine, Iowa; brother, Greg Brunow of Parsons, Kansas; and many other relatives and friends.
