Dennis Androy

Dennis John Androy was born November 16, 1943, to Herman and Audrey (Nordaker) Androy in Soldier, Iowa. He was raised in the Soldier area and graduated from Soldier High School. Denny joined the U.S. Army and proudly served his country. He was stationed in Korea and served in the Vietnam War. Denny was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. After his honorable discharge he moved to California since he didn’t like the Iowa winters. The couple lived in California where Denny graduated from Palomar College with an Associate of Arts in Business Administration. He worked as a warehouse supervisor for many years with the San Diego Division of Safeway. He also worked for Tax Corp of America.

Denny died January 25, 2011, in Sacramento, California at the age of 67 years, two months, and nine days.

Denny was preceded in death by his father and infant twin sisters. He is survived by his wife, Carol Androy of Sacramento, California; two daughters, Khristine Androy of Sacramento, California and Amy (Eric) Knight of Roseville, California; grandchildren, Brandon, Cade and Summer; his mother, Audrey Androy of Dunlap, Iowa; two sisters, Karen (Ron) Caldwell of Lohrville, Iowa and Carol (Ron) Holst of Dunlap, Iowa; brother, Dean (Faye) Androy of Missouri Valley, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
