Donald Price

Donald Gene Price was born on July 18, 1950, to Glen and Rosella (Rasmussen) Price in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was raised near Woodbine and graduated from Woodbine High School with the class of 1968.   Don married Lory Lefeber on September 20, 1969, and four children were born to this union. The couple lived in Harlan until their divorce in 1978. Don moved to Des Moines with Lynn Ann Ballantyne, and in 1983 they were blessed with one daughter. Don lived in Southwest Iowa most of his life doing construction and handyman maintenance work.

Don died at the Rose Vista Nursing Home October 7, 2018, attaining the age of 68 years, two months and 19 days.

Don was preceded in death by his father, Glen Price in 2000. He is survived by his five children, Brenda and Kendall Mintle of Glenwood, Iowa, Troy and Crystal Price of Schleswig, Iowa, Becky Nelson of Denison, Iowa, Trina and Tony Ortwine of Schleswig, Iowa and Shiloh and Michael Zdunek of Stanhope, New Jersey; 16 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; mother,Rosella Price of Woodbine, Iowa; five siblings, Daniel Price and Jackie Olson both of Woodbine, Iowa, Nancy McDaniel of Wellington, Colorado, Kayleen and Ray Ames of Belle Fourche, South Dakota, Karolyn and Harold Decuir of Essex, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
