Elizabeth Hunt

Elizabeth Marie Hunt was born September 23, 1946, to Daniel Wilfred and Doris Margaret (Mitchell) Hunt in Borden, Saskatchewan. In 1950, Elizabeth and her family moved to Larimore, North Dakota, and she attended school in Larimore. She then attended the University of North Dakota at Grand Forks and received her bachelor's degree in history. Elizabeth worked for different insurance companies in Hartford, CT, Cleveland, OH, Philadelphia, PA, St. Louis, MO and Chicago, IL. Elizabeth then attended SMU and received her Master's in Business Administration. She lived in Arlington, TX before moving to Woodbine in March of 2007 due to her ailing health. She attended Southview Bible Church in Council Bluffs until her health didn't allow her to drive. She then attended the Woodbine United Methodist Church.

Elizabeth knew her Bible and studied it extensively. She loved to travel and she had her pilot's license at one time. Elizabeth was a very independent lady.

Elizabeth died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at the Alegent Health Hospice House in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 62 years, six months and 16 days.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Jason; and brother-in-law, Gene Gray. She is survived by her six siblings, Gerald (Emily) Hunt of San Jose, CA, Robert (Laurie) Hunt of Corinth, TX, Lorne "Rick" (Debbye) Hunt of Shreveport, LA, Joan Hunt of Warrenton, MO, Judy (Earl) Dick of Woodbine, IA, Kathy (Ed) Nustad of Spokane, WA; and many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
