Evelyn Mary (Chiles) Ganzhorn was born November 13, 1914, to Andrew J. and Mary J. (Lindsey) Chiles on a farm north of Woodbine. She attended Maple Grove School and graduated from Woodbine High School in 1932. She then received her Normal Teacher's Training. They then moved to the Furbrush place up the road. In 1935, Evelyn's father died and the couple moved to that home to help the family and farm the ground. In 1937, the couple moved to a farm west of town. In 1939, they moved south of Magnolia and lived there for eight years. They moved back to Paul's family farm after Paul's folks moved to town in 1947. The couple lived there until they moved to Woodbine in 1984. Paul died May 30, 2004.
