Florence Belle Hall

Florence Belle (Thompson) Hall was born on August 13, 1929, to Charles and Lavonna (Black) Thompson in Emery, South Dakota. Her family moved to Dunlap when she was an infant. She attended Dunlap High School and graduated with the class of 1946. Florence Belle married Paul Bruce Frazier and to this union two children were born, Chris and Paulette.

Florence Belle cleaned houses, did ironing and enjoyed helping others. She also worked at Bonsall TV.  Florence Belle married Merwin Hall on March 26, 1967, at the RLDS Church in Dunlap.

Florence died on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at the age of 88 years, 11 months and 12 days at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Florence Belle liked to help Merwin on the farm.  She enjoyed bus tours and watching movies at the Denison Theater.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Lois Smith, Bernice Wolf, Lucille Crilly; and one brother, Lawrence “Jiggs” Thompson. She is survived by her husband, Merwin Hall of Dunlap, Iowa; daughters, Chris Cross of Clyde, Missouri and Paulette Frazier of Independence, Missouri; two grandchildren, Paul Cross and his wife Melody of St. Joseph, Missouri and Diana and her husband Don Auffert of Liberty,  Missouri; one great-grandchild, Melody Mayo; one great-great grandchild, Jaxon Vathaur; two sisters, Patsy (Larry) Hedger of Kankakee, Illinois and Sharon Espeseth of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
