Frederick Charles Frazier was born March 26, 1929, to Dave and Myrtle (Mitchell) Frazier in Dunlap, Iowa. Fred was raised near Dunlap and attended country school. He then started farming west of Dunlap. Fred proudly served his country in the United States Army. Fred married Irene Alexander on July 12, 1954, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The couple lived in Dunlap. Fred worked for a local trucking company for a few years and then worked for the Harrison County Road Department until his retirement in 1991.
Fred enjoyed gardening, watching baseball and playing with his grand-dogs.
Fred died on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Select Medical Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 84 years, one month and five days.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Irene Frazier on August 22, 2011; two brothers, Duane Frazier and Paul Frazier; sister, Ann Benson; and Bases I. He is survived by his son, Terry D. Frazier and his wife Lori of Omaha, Nebraska; sister, Ede Frerichs of Sioux City, Iowa; brother, Ed Frazier of Dunlap, Iowa; grand-dog, Bases II; and many other relatives and friends.
