Georgiann Krajicek

Georgiann Mary (Miller) Krajicek was born on May 15, 1931, in Earling, Iowa to Isidore and Hazel (Brown) Miller. She attended country school near Earling, and then she helped her parents out on the farm. Georgiann married Joseph Krajicek on June 14, 1951, a St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dunlap, Iowa. After Joe's discharge from the Army the couple moved back to the Dunlap area and farmed. They retired and moved into town in 1985.

Georgiann was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She was an excellent cook, loved needle point, sewing, gardening, shopping, polka dancing, and going cha-ching. Georgiann's clothes always matched and she was decked out with all the accessories to go with them. One could always find her looking her finest in her glitz and glitter jewelry ~ especially during the holidays.

Georgiann died on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at the Eventide Nursing Home in Denison, Iowa at the age of 83 years, eight months and 24 days.

Georgiann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Krajicek on April 7, 1996; grandson, Jason Krajicek; and son-in-law, Eddie Hopp. She is survived by nine children, Larry (Laura) Krajicek of Ft. Calhoun, Nebraska, Charlene (John) Tadin, Judy (Larry) Dreessen, Garry Krajicek and fiancée Chris all of Vail, Iowa, Geraldine Hopp of Sioux City, Iowa, Diane (Robert) Schroeder of Vail, Iowa, James (Donna) Krajicek of Denison, Iowa, Robert (Sandy) Krajicek and William (Kathy) Krajicek all of Vail, Iowa; 25 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; three siblings, John (Jane) Miller, Leonard (Helen) Miller all of Dunlap, Iowa, Gene (Jan) Miller of Denison, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
