Jacob Roberts

Jacob "Jake" Franklin Roberts was born on June 13, 1988, to Ronald & Mary (Milner) Roberts, in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended and graduated from Woodbine High school with the class of 2007. After high school, Jake attended college at Kirkwood Community College and Iowa Western Community College. Jake worked construction, for C&H Hauling, at the Dunlap Livestock Barn and on the farm for his dad.

Jake was very involved while at school. He was a member of the Iowa All-State Choir and a show choir member. He was in many school plays and was involved in the improv and speech groups. Jake loved to play football and was proud to be named the Punt, Pass, and Kick Champion once. He enjoyed playing golf, adult flag football and was an avid disc golf player. Jake also loved the Nebraska Cornhusker Football team.

Jacob died on January 16, 2020, at the age of 31 years, seven months and three days.

Jake was preceded in death by his mother Mary Roberts Alley in January of 2005. He is survived by his dad, Ron (Cyrila) Roberts of Dunlap; sister, Melissa (Matt) Mohr of Denison, Iowa; brothers, Matthew (Gabrielle) Roberts of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Nick (Lindsey) Roberts of Marshalltown, Iowa; step-siblings, Quentin (Jenny) Sachse of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Crissa Schumann (Paul Mutschler) of Schleswig, Iowa; nephews and nieces, Jacob, Brandon, Jaxon, Olivia, Graysen, Hudsen, and Samsen; his cat, Al; and many other relatives and friends.
