Dunlap�Jeanette Ada Siglin, 75, of Dunlap died Sunday, September 01, 2002, at her home in Dunlap.

Jeanette was born June 4, 1927, to parents Oscar and Lida (Black) Schlensig in Dunlap, Iowa. She attended Dunlap High School. On December 20, 1945 Jeanette married Wayne Siglin. They became parents of four children; William, Aaron, Anita and Doyle. Jeanette raised chickens, ducks and geese. She loved antiques, oil lamps, and her hat collection. She also enjoyed going to sales, helping with various church activities, and coffee and conversation every morning. She worked at area cafes, the Dunlap Locker, and the Worldwide Packing Plant in Denison.
Wayne died on August 4, 1997.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Aaron, two brothers, Albert & Charles Schlensig and two sisters, Jessie Schlensig and Mary Tiffey. She is survived by three children; Anita and her husband Clifford Allmon of Moorhead, Iowa, William Siglin and his wife Mary Ann of Denison, Iowa, and Doyle Siglin and his wife Diane of Ankeny, Iowa; five grandchildren, two step granddaughters, four great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Simon of Omaha, Myrtle Hansen of Hastings, NE; three brothers, Bill Schlensig & wife Helen of Omaha, Jerry Schlensig & wife Leola of Alma Gorda, NM and Jim Schlensig & wife Linda of Denison.
