Judith Ann (Niles) Cohrs was born February 14, 1941, to Earl and Herma (Donn) Niles at her family's farm northwest of Magnolia. She was raised near Magnolia and graduated from Magnolia High School in 1959. On September 19, 1959, Judy married Robert Cohrs. Besides being Bob's farming partner for life, Judy also worked at Perfection Press in Logan in the bindery for approximately 22 years.
Judy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Magnolia until it closed and she then joined Immanuel Lutheran Church in Logan. Judy enjoyed life on the farm, taking care of her chickens and ducks and tending to her garden and yard. It was never green enough and she always had too many weeds. Judy truly loved her family and making sure everyone had something to eat. No matter how busy she was there would always be food on the stove. She lives on in her grandkids and great grandkids. She thoroughly enjoyed following the grandkids and all of their activities over the years.
Judy died April 21, 2014, at her home near Logan, Iowa at the age of 73 years, two months and seven days.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers-in-law, Max Kucks and Larry Manes; and nephew, Chuck Manes.
