Kathleen Peasley

Kathleen Thomas Bracken Peasley, 91 of Gretna, Louisiana was born on March 1, 1919, in Yutan, Nebraska to parents William (Bill) and Hattie Thomas. She died on December 1, 2009 in Louisiana.

Kathleen lived in California from 1940 to 2001 at which time she came to live with her sister Dorothy and her husband Tom Howard in Gretna, Louisiana. She had worked in a blouse factory for years in California. She looked forward to her yearly trip she took with her sisters and sister-in-law, Louise. These trips will be a big part of the families' cherished memories among many others. She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews whom she considered her children.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Milo Bracken and Galen Peasley; and four brothers, Elmer, Fritz, Lloyd and Clarence Thomas. She is survived by two sisters, Dorothy and her husband Tom Howard of Gretna, Louisiana and Charlene "Tommie" O'Banion of Woodbine, Iowa; sister-in-law, Louise Thomas of Mondamin, Iowa; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat Murphy.
