Keegan Michael Gunia was born March 4, 2007, to Jennifer Lynch and Michael Gunia at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Keegan was born at 35 weeks gestation and died on March 4, 2007.

Keegan was preceded in death by his grandpa, David Lynch. He is survived by his parents, Jennifer Lynch and Michael Gunia of Dunlap, Iowa; grandparents, Jan and Wayne Freihage of Dunlap, Iowa, and Ed and Bonnie Gunia of Dunlap, Iowa; two uncles, Joe Nuzum of Kansas City, Kansas and Mark Gunia of Crescent, Iowa; two aunts, Margie and Don Nielson of Bellevue, Nebraska and Susie Gunia and special friend Kevin Young of Omaha, Nebraska; and four cousins, Brett Nuzum of Dunlap, Iowa, Megan, Nikki and Caitie Nielson of Bellevue, Nebraska.
