Kenneth Bonham

Kenneth Eugene "Gene" Bonham, Jr. was born on April 3, 1957 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to parents Kenneth Eugene & Regina Mae (Fountain) Bonham Sr. Gene graduated from Lo-ma High School in Logan with the class of 1975. Gene then began working for the City of Missouri Valley. A few years later he went to work for the G & L Lumberyard in Logan and then the City of Logan with the Street Department. On September 19, 1994 , Gene married Christine Fetter in Hawaii. The couple made their home in Logan.

Gene was a member of the Logan Christian Church and was an active member of the Logan Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. He enjoyed being with his family, following the different activities his family was involved in and following the Logan sports teams.

Gene died on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Alegent Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley, Iowa at the age of 50 years, three months and 18 days.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by wife Christine, Logan, IA; four children, Jeff (Kim) Bonham, Crescent, IA; Jill Gibson, Oakland, IA; Dillon Bonham and Austin Bonham, Logan, IA; five grandchildren, Lucas, Erik, Jacob, Katlyn and Kallie; siblings, Terry (Lynn) Moffatt, Princeton, MO, Barb (Jerry) Meade, Missouri Valley, IA, Pattie Hunt, Denison, IA, Scott (Susan) Bonham, Logan, IA & Bonnie (Luis) Zuniga, Dow City, IA; father-in-law, Donald (Colleen) Fetter Missouri Valley, IA; mother-in-law, Beverly (Steve) Jorgensen, Atlantic, IA; brothers-in-law, Randy Fetter & Jeff (Jodi) Fetter, Logan, IA sister-in-law, Diane (Rick) Davis Missouri Valley, IA and many other relatives and friends
