Kenneth Edward Gorham was born March 11, 1917, to Dwight and Elizabeth (Savage) Gorham in Dunlap, Iowa. In attended country school and graduated from Soldier High School in 1934. He worked in Minnesota harvesting fields. He then returned home to help his folks. On October 13, 1938, he married Lucille Knutson. The couple lived on a farm by Dow City for two years before moving to a farm west of Dunlap. Kenneth farmed his entire life.
Kenneth was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church as he served as a council member and the treasurer. He was a country school director and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Dunlap.
Kenneth died July 8, 2004, at Immanuel Fontenelle Home in Omaha, Nebraska attaining the age of 87 years, three months, and 27 days.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Ralph and Russell Gorham. He is survived by his wife Lucille of Omaha, Nebraska; daughter Janet and her husband Bill Oldham of Omaha, Nebraska; son Gary Gorham and his wife Audrey of Dunlap, Iowa; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
