L. Shepard

LaRoyce C. Shepard, 83 of Loveland, Colorado died on December 18, 2008. He was born on November 19, 1925 in Pisgah, Iowa to parents Samuel B and Eva F. (Henderson) Shepard. He graduated from Defiance High School in Iowa in 1943. L.C. married Doris L. Razee on July 26, 1948 in Omaha, Nebraska. L. C. was a nursing home administrator for 30 years. The couple moved to Loveland in 1986. L. C. was a full time caregiver to his wife, Doris for her last 15 years. Doris died in December 11, 2001.

L. C. became a born again Christian in 1949. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Loveland. L. C. enjoyed elk hunting.

L. C. was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Doris, three brothers, Dwayne, Cloyce and Lyle Shepard and an infant daughter Connie Lee. He is survived by his three children, Stephen Shepard and his wife Donna of Loveland, Colorado, Lance Shepard and his wife Janetta of Louisville, Colorado and Becky and her husband Tom Burns of Pikeville, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
