LaDonna Gage

LaDonna Mae (Hanneman) Gage was born on June 10, 1924, to parents Albert and Pearl (Baldwin) Hanneman in Dunlap, Iowa. LaDonna graduated from Dunlap High School in 1942. She then worked for an implement dealer in Dunlap. On September 17, 1950, LaDonna married Conrad "Bus" Gage in Wahoo, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Dunlap and then in Council Bluffs, Iowa. LaDonna worked as a secretary at Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs and at the First National Bank in Council Bluffs. Conrad died on May 1, 1990. LaDonna has lived at the Amelia House in Council Bluffs the last three years.

LaDonna was a member of the Broadway United Methodist Church in Council Bluffs and she was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. LaDonna enjoyed playing bingo.

LaDonna died on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at the Midlands Living Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa at the age of 86 years, four months, and 23 days.

LaDonna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Conrad "Bus" Gage; two brothers, Sheldon and Quentin Hanneman; and one sister-in-law, Verla Hanneman. She is survived by her son, Greg Gage of Council Bluffs, Iowa; one grandson; one sister-in-law, Yvonne Hanneman of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
