Larry Allen Weems

     Larry Allen Weems was born in Iowa City, Iowa on July 7, 1937, to Clara and Ralph Weems. He grew up in Prigmhar, Botna, and Denison. On October 24, 1968, Larry was united in marriage with Diana Schulte and they went on to have three boys, Brian, Brandon, and Bradley. Larry was a print press operator, semi driver and a farmer. He was an avid deer hunter and outdoorsman. He loved his family and farming. 

     Larry went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 85 years, 11 months, and 29 days.

     Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Clara and Ralph Weems; stepfather, Harold Crouch; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Chris Brink; and son, Bradley Weems. He is survived by his wife, Diana Weems of Vinton, Iowa; children, Brian and Alecia Weems of Shellsburg, Iowa, Brandon and Krista Weems of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Halee, Dustin, Faith, Grace, Channah, and Elsie Weems, Austin Weems-Barke; two great-grandchildren, Loralai and Elliott Tharp; and his dog, Ace.
