Linda Sondag

Linda Margaret (Holloway) Sondag was born on August 22, 1947, in Dunlap, Iowa to parents Walter and Edith (Strait) Holloway. She graduated from Dunlap High School in 1965. Linda lived and worked in Chicago for a short time while living with her sister. On July 29, 1967, she married Donald Sondag at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dunlap. Together they raised their family on their farm south east of Woodbine. In 2011 the couple moved into town.

Linda was an Elvis fan and liked anything related to Elvis. She also enjoyed bingo, jigsaw puzzles and crocheting. She looked  forward to getting together with her friends once a week to play board games.

Linda died on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at her home in Woodbine at the age of 71 years, two months and one day.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, son, Danny Sondag; two sisters, Nancy Arasmith and Marilyn Feige. She is survived by her husband, Donald Sondag of Woodbine, Iowa; five children, Janie and her husband Vince Reifenrath of Persia, Iowa, Sherry and her husband Jon Weaver of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Steven Sondag and his wife Lisa of Bellevue, Nebraska, Michael Sondag and his wife Jo of Omaha, Nebraska and Jeffrey Sondag and his fiancée Cecil Tolentino of Omaha, Nebraska; four grandchildren; three brothers, John Holloway and his wife Carol of Pine River, Minnesota, Robert Holloway and his wife Jeanne of Eugene, Oregon and David Holloway and his wife Mary of Roach, Missouri and many other relatives and friends.
