Marcella Malone

Marcella M. (Schiltz) Malone, 83 died on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Rose Vista Nursing Home in Woodbine, Iowa. Marcella was born on July 31, 1923 to Lawrence and Anna (Ebert) Schlitz in Arion, Iowa. She attended school in Earling, Iowa and a country school near Panama, Iowa. She then helped on her parent's farm near Woodbine. On October 5, 1942 she married Merle "Bill" Malone.
Marcella was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Woodbine.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Merle "Bill"; daughter Joyce and three brothers, Arthur, Charles and Donald Schiltz. She is survived by her two daughters, Shirley Stultz of Omaha, Nebraska and Janet and her husband Dave Bohe of Onawa, Iowa; three granddaughters, Julie Blocki of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Nancy Valentio of Omaha, Nebraska and Laura Cooper of Ohio; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Gerald Schiltz and his wife Nola of Portsmouth, Iowa; sister-in-law Ilene Davidson of Woodbine, Iowa and many other relatives and friends.
