Mark Alan Wagner was born November 6, 1963, in Denison, Iowa to Derrell and Evelyn (Samuelson) Wagner. He grew up in Woodbine and attended Woodbine Public School. On June 10, 1985, Mark married Tina Hardy in Rapid City, South Dakota. The couple lived in the Woodbine area until October of 2006 when they moved to Turin, Iowa. Mark had worked at Kelly Ryan in Blair, Nebraska, Monfort Construction in Greeley, Colorado, Bond Equipment and Schwertly Manufacturing in Logan, Iowa.

Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and riding motorcycles.

Mark died June 22, 2007, at his home in Turin at the age of 43 years, seven months and 16 days.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Tina of Turin, Iowa; children, Faith Wagner and her fianc�e Terry Johnson of Woodbine, Iowa, Amanda and her husband John Hand of Woodbine, Iowa and Mark Wagner II and his wife Shea of Blencoe, Iowa; "adopted" son Jeff Martin of Turin, Iowa; five grand-children; three sisters, Pam Steinkuehler, Judy and her husband Tom Erlewine and Patricia Christo all of Woodbine, Iowa; two brothers, Robert Wagner and his wife Bev and Tom Wagner and his wife Lori all of Woodbine, Iowa and many other relatives and friends.
