Mary Bresette

Mary Ellen Bresette, 53, of Logan, Iowa died suddenly on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at her home in Logan, Iowa. Mary was born on September 25, 1956 in Denver, Colorado to parents William and Shirley (Peter) Mindis. She graduated from high school in Wall, New Jersey. Mary graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stout with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. She was a Master Jeweler and worked for various companies. In 2001 she moved to Harrison County and worked for Matthew Powell Creations in Missouri Valley, Iowa. The last few years she has worked for Energique in Woodbine, Iowa.

Mary enjoyed art, travel especially outdoors-parks and out of the way places. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and adored her eight month old granddaughter, Jaiza.

Mary was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her two sons, Jason Bresette and his wife Robin of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Jordan Bresette of Logan, Iowa; her granddaughter, Jaiza Bresette of Minneapolis, Minnesota; mother, Shirley Mindis of Monticello, Minnesota; three sisters, Arleen Mindis of Orlando, Florida, Barbara and her husband Bob Esse of Monticello, Minnesota and Clarie and her husband Scott Troxel of Monticello, Minnesota and many other relatives and friends.

Mary's wishes were to have her body be cremated and her family will have services at a later time. Fouts Funeral Home of Woodbine was in charge of the arrangements.
