Max Mann

Max Morris Mann, 83 of Woodbine Iowa died on June 8, 2011, at the Rose Vista Nursing Home in Woodbine, Iowa. He was born on May 2, 1928, near Woodbine, Iowa to parents Miles and Iva (Haner) Mann. Max attended country school and then Woodbine High School. Then Max began farming and driving trucks. He farmed and drove a stock truck for several years and then later became an over the road truck driver. Max married NaDean Roundy and to this union five children were born, Ron, Keith, Kenny and Linda. He later married Geraldine Speake Juilfs and to this union one son was born, Rick. Max will be remembered for his hard work.

Max was preceded in death by his parents and a son Terry Mann. He is survived by five children, Linda and her husband Terry Steel of New Sharon, Iowa, Ron Mann of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Keith Mann and his wife Diana of Lake Oswego, Oregon, Kenny Mann of Pella, Iowa and Rick Mann & his wife Patsy of Dickinson, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one sister, Donna Barry of Logan, Iowa and many other relatives and friends.
