Michael Wayne Dunlop was born March 20, 1973 in Missouri Valley, IA to parents Dorothy Rudolph and Charlie Nicholson. He was later adopted by Larry Dunlop.
He grew up in Audubon and Woodbine. Michael graduated in 1991 from Woodbine High School. He served in the Marines and then worked at Tommy Gate. He then went to Ellsworth Community College and studied Swine Management. He managed a hog confinement in Carroll, IA. From there he moved to Prairie City, IA and worked at Pella Windows in Pella, IA, and was currently working at Central States Roofing Company in Des Moines, IA.
He loved kids, his four dogs, Budda, Kano, Spank and Jack and his Boa snake, Sebastian. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing pool, Nascar racing and the Kansas City Chiefs. He had a big heart and loved his family.
Michael died on Thursday, November 27, 2003 near Prairie City, Iowa at the age of 30 years, eight months and seven days.
Michael is survived by his parents Dorothy and Bill Snyder, Larry and Darla Dunlop all of Woodbine, IA and Charlie and Jeanne Nicholson of Norfolk, NE; his siblings, Clinton and Brenda Dunlop with daughter Madysen, Jennifer Dunlop and Newt Snyder with daughter Kelly, Regina Dunlop, Denise and Kevin Kuhlman, Dena and Mike Jensen, James Archer, Matthew Archer, Jacob Archer, Margaret Dunlop, Chad Nicholson, and Amy and Heath Cisler with son Quentin; grandparents, Lorena Rudolph of Audubon, IA, Harriet Nicholson of Tarkio, MO, Kenneth Dunlop of Woodbine, IA, Lois Snyder of Woodbine, IA, Eugene and Jean Mau of Odebolt, IA, and "Grandma Min" of Prairie City, IA and many other relatives and friends.
