Othel Lewis Adams, 93 of Omaha died Sunday January 4, 2015, at Skyline Health Center.
Othel was born August 19, 1921, to Florence (Burch) and Charles H. Adams Sr. He attended school in Woodbine, and served in the Army signal corps during WWII. On February 14, 1943, he married Lora Mae Walde. He was in farming and trucking, worked at Roberts Dairy, Max I. Walker cleaners, and was a car salesman for John Kraft Chevrolet. After retirement he did dealer trades for Reagan Buick.
He was a cherished member of his church, Community of Christ, where he was a deacon.
He is survived by his wife, Lorie Adams of Omaha, Nebraska; son, Larry (Carol) Adams of Columbus, Nebraska, Robert (Jan) Adams of San Antonio,Texas; five grandchildren, Kim (Mark) Allen, Karrie (Paul) Johansson, Bryan Adams, Brenda Matthews, and Mike Peterson; three great-grandchildren, Stacey (Eric) Gehringer, Spencer Allen, and Kaitlynn Adams; four great-great grandchildren, Elisha, Ashton and Allie Allen, and Michael Gehringer.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles H. Adams Sr. and Florence, three brothers John William (Willie), Charles Jr., Howard (Romain), four sister's Velso Adams in infancy, Myrtle Collier, Vivian Graybill and Madge Young, and grandson, Kyle Adams.
