Rex Johnson

Rex H. Johnson, 69 of Dunlap died Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at his home in Dunlap. Rex was born on November 30, 1933 in Murray, IA to parents Carl & Blanche (Hoover) Johnson. He grew up in the Murray area and graduated from the Murray High School. Rex worked as an assistant horse trainer in Omaha and Chicago. He had also been associated with the National Farm Organization and had worked for several car dealers. Rex moved to Dunlap in the early 1990's.

Rex was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, Dorothy Sue and three brothers, Robert, Richard and Max Johnson. He is survived by his two sisters, Marilynn Goode of Des Moines, IA and Carol Gilbaugh of Graettinger, IA; 3 sisters-in-law, Naomi Johnson of New Virginia, IA, Leta Johnson of Creston, IA and Geraldine Johnson of Hutchinson, KS and special friends, Donna & Mark Brasel of Dunlap, IA and many other relatives and friends.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date by his family.
