Ron M. Mann

 Ronald Morris Mann was born on October 22, 1946, in Council Bluffs, Iowa to parents Max and NaDean (Roundy) Mann. He grew up in Woodbine, Iowa until he moved with his mom to Denver, Colorado in 1965. During his time in Colorado, he married and became the father of two daughters, Michelle and Sheila. In 1974, Ron moved back to Missouri Valley, Iowa and started driving truck for his father and which is where he met Deborah Barker (Waterhouse). They were married in October of 1975, and to this union two sons were born, Matthew and Brian Mann. Ron went on to build his own trucking business and drove truck until his stroke at the age of 47. After his stroke, he continued to live independently until he moved to Azria Health Rose Vista Nursing Home in 2019.

 After a short illness, Ron died on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Azria Health Rose Vista in Woodbine at the age of 77 years, nine months and 23 days.

 Ron was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Yvette Louise Mann; and brothers, Kenny, Terry and Rick Mann; brother-in-law, Terry Steel; stepsiblings, Dennis Juilfs and Deb Kepford; and grandparents, Ralph and Agnes Roundy and Miles and Iva Mann. He is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Troy) Ratigan and Sheila (Jeff) Cunard; sons, Matthew (Noelle) Mann and Brian (Jacquie) Mann; grandchildren, Johnny Bernard, Kyle (Ellen) Bernard, Chase Ratigan, Elise Ratigan, Sawyer Mann, Evan Mann, Ben Mann, Brekkyn Mann, Weston Mann and Parker Mann; brother, Keith (Diana) Mann; sister, Linda Steel; stepmother, Gerry (Don) Otte; step-siblings, Terry Cozad and Pam Rathmann; aunt, Donna Barry; uncle, Duane Roundy; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
