 Stacy Renee Hardy was born on September 10, 1970, in Missouri Valley, Iowa to parents Darryl and Anna (Tiffey) Cleaver. The family lived in Buena Vista, Colorado until Stacy was 11. They then moved back to Woodbine, Iowa. Stacy graduated from Woodbine High School in 1988. She then started working as a CNA. Stacy married Joey Hardy on February 11, 1989, in Woodbine and the couple lived in Woodbine. She was a unit secretary for Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. Stacy attended Iowa Western Community College for Medical Coding. She then worked at Myrtue Hospital in Harlan and recently as Coding Coordinator at Crawford County Hospital in Denison. Stacy loved her role as a mom, and she never missed any of her daughter's events while they were in school. 

 Stacy loved spending time with her grandchildren, she liked to walk, and you would see her daily walking around town or outside of town. She loved to play euchre. She also enjoyed shopping, especially for purses, shoes and perfume. Lately she has enjoyed doodling with her grandchildren and painting.

 Stacy died on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at her home in Woodbine surrounded by her family at the age of 54 years, two months and three days.

 Stacy was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Allie Brooks. She is survived by her husband, Joey Hardy of Woodbine; two daughters, Meghan and her husband Korey Brooks of Pleasant Hill, Iowa and Kimberly and her husband Stephen Creary of Bondurant, Iowa; four grandchildren, Jamison Brooks, Ruby Brooks, Bodhe Degraffenreid and Sutton Brian; parents, Darryl and Anna Cleaver of Spencer, Iowa; sister, Tiffany and her husband Jason Thelen of Spencer, Iowa; two brothers, Jon Cleaver of Woodbine and Jamie Cleaver of Houston, Texas and many other relatives and friends.
