Steve Wadsworth

Steven Wilson Wadsworth was born October 31, 1953, to William and Evelyn (Kroll) Wadsworth in Denison, Iowa. He was raised in Dunlap and he graduated from Dunlap High School in 1971. Steve married Mary Erickson on March 12, 1977, at St. John Lutheran Church in Dunlap. He worked for Twin Valley Vet for five years. He then managed the Mobile Station and the Coop Station before it closed. Steve then went on to work for Ampride in Denison. In 1996 he went to work for Heartland Tire in Omaha.

Steve enjoyed farming, hunting, and coon hunting. He also enjoyed fishing and watching football.

Steve died on Thursday, October 21, 2010, at the Dunlap Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 56 years, 11 months and 21 days.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by, Mary Wadsworth of Dunlap, Iowa; his two sons, Kyle Wadsworth and his wife Morgan of Dunlap, Iowa, Eddie Wadsworth and Danielle of Edgewood, Iowa; brother, Bill Wadsworth and his wife Sandy of Dunlap, Iowa; two sisters, Diane and her husband Leonard Gosch of Castana, Iowa, Carol and her husband Rod Gleason of Omaha, Nebraska; and many other relatives and friends.
