Susan Weber

Susan Kay Weber was born January 6, 1956, to Gerald and Wanda (Jones) Weber in Denison, Iowa. Susan was raised in Dow City, Iowa, where she attended school, graduating from high school in 1974. She then attended Graceland University and received her B. A. in Secondary Education and began her teaching career in Clearfield, Iowa. After several years there, she returned to Dow City and began attending UNO, later receiving her M.A. in counseling. Susan went on to teach in several schools throughout the Midwest before returning to the Dow City area and her present job teaching social studies at Boyer Valley and the Quad Academy.

Susan was a member of the Community of Christ in Dow City. She enjoyed gardening, walking, reading, and music, playing the piano, guitar, and violin. Her greatest joy was teaching. Susan will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, friend, and teacher. We will miss her so much but feel blessed by her life. We take comfort knowing she is at peace with the Lord.

Susan was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Gerald Weber. She is survived by her mother, Wanda Weber of Dow City, Iowa; sister, Lucille Weber of Austin, Texas; special neighbors Bill, Becky, Marc, and Jill Eimermann, cousins, aunts, uncles, and her many students.
