Trevor Jordan Chase was born on March 8, 1987, in Denison, Iowa to Roger and Julie (Torgerson) Chase. He grew up in Dunlap, attending Boyer Valley and graduated in 2006. Trevor went on to Job Corp in Denison which took him to Texas for a while. He had various jobs and especially enjoyed working security and in the care and support field.

Trevor had a passion for many things. He loved the KC Chiefs, the Iowa Hawkeyes, storm chasing, playing games and video games, especially with his cousins, shooting off fireworks and drinking Dr. Pepper. Trevor was quite competitive and was a little bit of a trash talker. He attended multiple Chiefs training camps and couldn’t wait for the next season to be here. He also loved trains and traveling with family and cherished his niece and nephew. Most importantly he loved people and was an example of the way we are directed to live by the Lord. Even through physical pain and disability he was kind and gentle with his words. We could all follow his lead and live a life of loving and caring for others.

Trevor passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the age of 38 years and 12 days.

Trevor was preceded in death by his mom, Julie Chase and grandparents, Kenneth and Helen Torgerson and Guilford and Faye Chase. He is survived by his father, Roger Chase of Dunlap; brothers, Josh (Kim) Chase of Omaha, Nebraska, Andy Chase (Bryan) of Old Town, Maine and Jake Chase of Dunlap; niece and nephew, Charli Ray and Milo Julian; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
