Wayne Haubold

Wayne William Haubold was born October 29, 1942, to William and Agnes (Plath) Haubold in Pisgah, Iowa. Wayne was raised on a farm between Pisgah and Magnolia, and he graduated from Magnolia High School in 1960. Wayne married Diane Harris in 1964. The couple was blessed with two children, Christine and Steven. Since 1990 Wayne has shared his life with Joan Griffith.
Wayne was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Wayne also enjoyed the outdoors, sports, and helping family and friends with yard work. The Farm Service Coop was his life.
Wayne died on Sunday, May 20, 2007, at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa attaining the age of 64 years, six months, and 21 days
Wayne was preceded in death by his father in 1985. He is survived by his mother, Agnes Haubold of Woodbine, Iowa; daughter, Christine Dugdale of Missouri Valley, Iowa; son, Steven Haubold of Woodbine, Iowa; three granddaughters, Rebecca, Emily and Hannah Dugdale; sister, Wilma and her husband Ron Truitt of Woodbine, Iowa; special friend, Joan Griffith of Missouri Valley, Iowa and her children, Jeff Sanford and his wife Trisha, Jolynne and her husband Max Yankey, and Brett Sanford and his wife Becky; 10 special grandchildren, seven special great grandchildren; nieces, Denise and her husband Kevin Kuhlman, Dena and her husband Mike Jensen; nephew, Dennis "Newt" Snyder and Jennifer; and many other relatives and friends.
