Owners and Funeral Director

Paul, son of Phil and Anita Fouts, grew up in the Dunlap and Woodbine area. He attended Iowa State University and then mortuary school in Houston, Texas. He worked for a couple of other funeral homes before returning to Woodbine to serve in his local community. He is married to Beth and they have been blessed with three children, Matt (Ann) Fouts, Brianne (Bruce) Niedermyer and Ryan Fouts, as well as 6 amazing grandchildren. Paul is a member of the Woodbine United Methodist Church where he has held many positions. Paul is a member of the Community Memorial Hospital Board of Directors, the Woodbine Golf Course and treasurer of the Woodbine Community Foundation. He is a past member of the Woodbine Library Board and the Woodbine Betterment. Paul enjoys golfing, riding his motorcycle and being outdoors. He and Beth enjoy traveling, gardening, cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones and playing card games. Paul takes great pride in his work and connecting with the families in the local communities.

Beth, daughter of Roy and Mary Ellen Boyden, spent most of her childhood in Minnesota. After high school she earned a degree as a medical secretary and later she added on a degree in secondary education. She is married to Paul they have been blessed with three children, Matt (Ann) Fouts, Brianne (Bruce) Niedermyer and Ryan Fouts, as well as 6 amazing grandchildren. After Paul and Beth purchased the funeral home from Paul’s parents, she worked full-time at the funeral home, handling the office work, visitations, funerals and other various duties. She retired in 2019 but gets called in to help every now and again. Beth is a member of the United Methodist Church and has held many positions within the church. She was a member of the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation Board, Main Street Organization Committee, Woodbine School Board as well as Girl Scout Leader and Youth Group Leader. Beth enjoys golfing, playing the piano and taking pictures. Paul and Beth enjoy traveling, gardening, cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones and playing card games. The most important thing to Beth is her family. She loves attending all the school activities and church activities and encouraging her children to do their best. Beth gladly took on the role of Grandma and/or Grammy and/or Nana and is enjoying watching and spoiling (or you could say accommodating and/or making memories) each of her six grandchildren.

Molly, the daughter of Rick and Marcia Morrison, grew up in Missouri Valley. After serving the area in other capacities, she joined the staff at Fouts Funeral Home and in 2020 she earned her diploma in Mortuary Science from DMACC. Molly is married to Charlie Green and they are blessed to have three children, Kaitlyn (Garret) Thompson, Kasey Green and Kooper Green. She is a member of the Logan Christian Church, Teammates, the Magnolia Fire Department and Logan TSO (Teacher Support Organization). As a family they enjoy taking trips with their off-road vehicle. Much of their time is spent at practices and games for the boys. Molly feels that the funeral home was a calling for her, and she is truly blessed to be able to serve families in the communities she grew up in.
